(Press Release) — Marianas Agupa Radio Talkshow is pleased to invite all three gubernatorial candidates to appear virtually, side by side, on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022 at 9 a.m. The link to the show will be emailed to each of the candidates before the date.
The purpose of the forum-like appearance on the show will be for our listening public to hear how our three candidates — Gov. Ralph DLG Torres, Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios and Rep. Tina M. Sablan — respond to each other and to the questions and issues facing the Commonwealth.
The language will be either in Chamorro or English and the order to respond to a question shall be by their number on the ballot. No. 1 (Sablan); No. 2 (Palacios) and No. 3 (Torres).
• Opening statement. Each of the candidates shall be given up to 5 minutes for an opening statement
All three candidates will be asked the following questions:
• What are your top three priorities for the first 100 days if elected governor and how you will measure your success in each of your priorities? (5 minutes each)
• Why do you deserve to be elected governor, and what makes you a better candidate than the other two candidates? (5 minutes each)
There will be no rebuttals in this Q&A segment.
• Closing statement. All three candidates shall be given up to 5 minutes for a closing statement.
Again, there will be no rebuttals for this segment. Questions from the listening audience will be taken for each of the candidates for governor. One question each from members of the public.
All the questions will be asked and moderated by host Glenn H. Manglona.
