IF you think you can normalize evil corruption, think again, because I will never allow you to keep fooling people. My job as a U.S.-CNMI journalist is to hold officials accountable for their ongoing corruption and to hold their feet to the fire.
You may tell yourselves it’s okay to steal my grandmother’s land or my grandfather’s land compensation, and you might get away with it now — but not with the one upstairs. I will expose all your corruption every day.
You may think you have the best plan, but time and again, you fail miserably. It’s a shame that you prioritize self-enrichment and personal greed over the public good.
Take President Trump, for example. Do you really think his secrets will never see the light of day, even as his actions put many in darkness for personal gain? I will not conform to an ideology I consider corrupt, no matter how much anyone tries to silence me.
The reason I speak out against the Trump administration is that I never voted for him or his rhetoric, but I monitor his erratic behavior, including his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Calling Trump a king is nothing but garbage behavior. I will never claim to be the best journalist covering Micronesia or the Indo-Pacific, but I take my job seriously for the people of Micronesia and the Pacific.
I will not be silenced by the CNMI government, the Oregon state government, or even Washington, D.C., regarding the abduction of my wife. I am passionate because I love my work and the pursuit of truth, especially exposing human corruption and atrocities.
I speak not only about my wife, Shuchun Li Romolor, but also about my grandmother. I am speaking out against crimes against women and humanity worldwide. The United Nations must act to stop war atrocities in Israel, Palestine, and Ukraine, because killing mothers and children is plainly wrong. Money cannot bring justice.
In conclusion, think about the families affected by these manufactured wars, and ask yourself whether it is in the world’s best interest for children to die daily.
Sincerely, wailapi.
