Giramur handed the meats to Ezra Takeo, PCC Cafiteria supervisor, yesterday.
The Turkeys will be delivered to the Peleliu today via a boat.
Giramur donated four pieces of Turkeys to 100 students of Peleliu Elementary School and one piece to the 28 Headstart students.
The Turkeys weighed 25 lbs each and 15 lbs.
Giramur is from Peleliu State. He is the Vice Speaker for Peleliu Legislature.
Hesaid he has been donating Turkeys for Peleliu during Thanksgiving Day for the past four years.
“I’ve been doing this for four years now except last year because I was off-island at that time. Whenever I’m on island and every Thanksgiving I’ll see to it that the students will get something for the Thanksgiving Day,”Giramur said.
“My message for them is study hard, listen to your parents, be a good boys and girls and enjoy the Thanksgiving Day,” he added.
Aside from the Turkeys, Giramur also donated 12 pieces of Pie to the students.
Giramur spent more than $200 for the goods.
