The Jets, Flores added, will also have no team for the Big League Division, leaving the long-time league participant with only the Major and Senior teams playing when the league starts on Jan. 10.
When asked why, Flores could only say, “due to difficulty” in organizing the teams in all divisions.
The inability to participate in the Junior and Big League divisions has scattered the graduating Senior Jets to different teams Big League teams.
Short stop Juan Iguel and left fielder, Jimmy Brel who were with the team when it won the championships in 2007 and 2008 are moving to Ol Aces.
Center field, Dave Camacho is being drafted to D9ers; second baseman, John Pangelinan to Hustlers; catcher, Ignacio Aldan to Falcons and first baseman Ryan Lisuia to Ol Aces.
However, six graduating Junior Jets will continue to see action in the annual Little League as they now join the returning Senior Jets to get their third championship next year.
They are incoming Senior Jets include pitcher/third baseman Harry Nakamura, first baseman Keoni Lizama, centerfielder Joe Palacios, second baseman Justin Kintol and catcher Marvin Ngeskebei.
They will help returning champions, pitchers Josh Jones, Chris Myers, Toby Fleming, Eli Aughenbaugh, second baseman John Salas and centerfielder JT Taitano.
Pennant champions twice, the Junior Jets played runner up against Fielders in 2007 and against Lions in 2008.
The Jets’ that did not have team in Majors Division is now training a new breed of sluggers for next year’s league.
