Koshiba and the rest of the President Johnson Toribiong’s administrator met with Palau Ambassador to the United Nations Stuart Beck on Wednesday regarding the Compact review.
Koshiba said that they have asked Beck and the rest of his team to go back to the U.S. assess the situation.“None of us knows the atmosphere, we will be needing his advice on the matter,” Koshiba said.He said like the U.S. administration, Palau will also organize itself with the new administration.Koshiba said it is preferred that meetings, review or negotiations with the U.S. representatives are held in Palau to save public funds for travel expenses.
