Tourists lost cash to a thief

Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said the tourists were billeted at the Palau Pacific Resort and the money was stolen from hotel premises.

Aguon said the incident was reported to the police on January 24 at 7:25 p.m.A woman walked in to the police station and reported that two guests of PPR were victimized by a thief when the suspect stole their money.Aguon said that police responded to a total of 26 incidents over the weekend including a burglary at the Immaus Kindergarten school’s office.Someone had broke into the office of the Immaus school and stole $724 cash.The other reported incidents included damage of property, missing TV at the airport compound and theft of cellphone and $14 which was stolen from the victim’s workplace in Malakal were victimized by a thief .
