Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that there would be no left turns coming from Iyebukel and going inside Iyebukel, as well as coming from Maris Stella school.
Aguon said this no left turn policy is applicable only from 7 am to 8:30 am from Mondays through Fridays.If the motorist is heading Iyebukel, he or she has to make a left turn at the Mobil Topside all the way to GB Harris.Aguon said this effort is in response to the feedback of a concerned citizen who brought up the traffic flow at the said area especially in the morning.“In response to the recommendations made by some of our concerned citizens in trying to improve the traffic flow, we will be implementing no left turn during morning hours, especially from 7 to 8:30 a.m.,”Aguon said.Aguon urges the public to contact the BPS for more suggestions or recommendations in addressing the Koror’s morning traffic situation.“We appreciate any input from the public, what they can suggest to improve the traffic flow or if they see any obstacle in the pedestrian they can always call us and we will take action of it or issue citation if there is any violation,”Aguon said.For information about any crimes, the public can call Crime Stoppers at 4888477.
