CPA sinks Mayor’s Office, Legislature shuts out Customs

Byron Kaipat homered in the first inning and drove in two base runners for an early lead.

Frank Robers also sent Jack Guerrero home with his single hit.

Kaipat foiled Mayor’s Office attempt to get even in the third inning as he captured John Guerrero’s fly ball into his territory.

 From there, CPA defended the field against Mayors’ Office all the way to the final inning to secure the victory.

At-bat, the CPA continued hitting hard.

Donald Pangelinan tripled twice and drove in Kaipat with a sacrifice fly in the third inning.

Jack Guerrero also hit a run-scoring triple and a double for his two RBIs.

Ryan Sablan also doubled and sent Frank Roberts home with a single hit.

Peter Borja added two RBIs, Manny Degracia and Mark Toves one RBI each.

Pangelinan allowed nine hits and struck out only one.

Legislature 4, Customs 0

Legislature also climbed to seven-win standing as it shut out Customs, 4-0 during the first game, handing them their eighth loss.

Legislature’s pitchers, Perry Besong and BJ Attao were both struck out by JJ Salas, and were not able to get even.

However, Legislature’s fielder kept Customs scoreless to secure their seventh victory.

Fonz Tarope sent Dennis

Ngeskebei home for his only RBI while Mitch Martin singled him home.

Besong drove-in Ben Camacho in the final inning.
