GOVERNOR Ralph DLG Torres has reappointed Health Care Professions Licensing Board Chairman Theodore Parker, Board Secretary Tiffany Willis, and Northern Marianas Housing Corp. board member Vianney Atalig-Hocog.
If confirmed by the Senate, Parker, Willis and Hocog will serve another four-year term.
In his reappointment letters to Senate President Jude U. Hofschneider, the governor said he is confident that Parker and Willis are qualified and will continue to devote their time and efforts “on this important board.” He asked the Senate president for expeditious support and favorable action on their reappointment.
Hofschneider referred the reappointments to the Senate Committee on Executive Appointments and Government Investigations which is chaired by Sen. Frank Q. Cruz saying that his timely action on the request is greatly appreciated.
The other members of the Health Care Professions Licensing Board are its vice chairman Martin Rohringer and members Warren Creed and Glenda George.
The NMHC board’s other trustees are its Chair Marcie Tomokane, Vice Chair Eric J. Reyes, Oscar M. Babauta and Melvin Faisao.
