Some lawmakers who opposed the monument are now claiming that they supported it all along. Talk about flip-floppers. This is just another perfect example of an overly bloated government that fails to see real opportunity knocking. Fortunately, the educated ones saw the opportunity and took action.
This monument will provide us with the much needed worldwide publicity we badly need. It should bring in federal dollars and federal jobs. It should bring in tourists and most of all, conserve our natural resources.
