Masks now optional at CPA ports

(CPA) — In alignment with the April 18, 2022 statement from the Transportation Security Administration, the Commonwealth Ports Authority has announced that, effective immediately, masking is now optional for all individuals at CPA airports and seaports.

“Over the next few days, CPA staff will be removing all mask requirement signage and public announcements at CPA’s airports and seaports,” said Executive Director Christopher S. Tenorio. “Although travelers are no longer required to wear a mask, the other safety precautions that CPA has implemented will continue to be enforced. I encourage all travelers that want to wear a mask to continue to do so.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention continues to recommend that people wear masks while using indoor public transportation facilities.
