The owner discovered the theft at 8:30 am that day.
The owner in an interview yesterday said that the store was last secured after midnight of Tuesday by the cashier.When he came to the store the following morning, he discovered that the back door was already open and his Hi-Fi Sony stereo, four speakers and the two day sales cash amounting to $185 were already missing.He said the suspect also stole a CD case which contained 30 CDs, ice cooler, soft drinks, juice and other items at the store.The owner said it was the first time that an individual succeeded in burglarizing his store.He said a juvenile attempted to break in last November and when he failed to get inside, the suspect vandalized his store.The juvenile was later arrested.
