Sakuma’s grand slam zooms Docomo past P& S

Sakuma also hit two-run scoring home run in the fourth inning and helped Docomo secure its 27-20 victory.

After replacing Leo Bobai on the mound in the bottom of the third, Sakuma struck out three holding P& S scoreless in the fourth inning.

Gloyd Martin drove in the two winning runs in the final inning, singled home one in the second and pushed another with his home run in the fourth inning.

 Ben Aguon sent Kuich Damian and Gloyd Martin home with his sacrifice fly in the first inning and drove in Luis Ngeraikelau with his single hit in the second.

John Acosta rocketed three single hits sending home one in the third and two base runners in the fourth.

POI 17, DLNR 2

William Sablan tripled Highness Sakuma and Jun Kaipat in the fourth inning to help POI paced for survival by routing Department of Lands and Natural Resources.

He also doubled Sakuma and Victor Ada in the third inning.

Kyle Kaipat also scattered double hits in the three consecutive innings for their 17-2 victory.

Maurice Omengkar struck out only one and allowed five hits, walked six and gave up two runs.

Harry Nakamura had two RBIs and Harlan Delos Reyes added two.

Finance 18, NMC 10

Lilian Aguon tripled Liz Lebria and Lenice Kapileo for her five RBIs helping Finance hand Northern Marianas College its second loss.

Right from the start, Aguon was hitting a triple and hit a go-ahead single in the sixth inning and scored the final run from Pauline Tudela’s sacrifice fly for their 18-10 win.

Tudela herself poured run-scoring triples and Bego Camacho, Lilian Pangelinan and Julie Guerrero had two RBIs each.
