The survey, which analyzes several aspects of doing business in 181 countries, ranked Samoa below Vanuatu, Tonga and Fiji in the world ratings.
Business procedures such as employing workers, obtaining a license are all analyzed by the World Bank as part of the survey.
Surprisingly, in the East-Asia, Pacific region, Samoa is ranked 10th ahead of China, although still trailing behind Fiji which is ranked fifth in ease of doing business.
