Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon withheld the names and the locations of the establishments cited for violations.
Aguon said the bars were cited for selling alcohol or allowing consumption of alcohol after 2 am.The law prohibits the selling, serving or consumption of alcohol after 2 am.Aguon reminds the owners of any establishment to comply with the law to avoid citations.The Bill requiring all cabarets, clubs and restaurants to close at 2 am was signed into law on July 10, 2008 by then President Tommy Remengesau.Aguon is also reminding all motorists not to park on the roadway, sidewalks, near fire hydrants and in front of the drive ways.Aguon said it is illegal to park or stand on the roadway, sidewalks and front of drive ways.Aguon said police will strictly enforce this no parking and standing law.Meanwhile, Aguon said that more individuals have come and admitted their guilt to graffiti.He said these persons volunteered to clean the vandalized properties.
