Are the current members of the retirement system listening? Is the chamber of commerce listening? The raiding and non-payment of government employee contributions threatens to shut down this economic benefit to our islands.

If in three to five years the retirement system goes bust, the economy loses $12,000,000 per year and that’s at a minimum. It’s only the tip of the iceberg’s impact. Let me know what else will be financially impaired. At [email protected]
How do we stop this looting of the retirement system? We ask every potential candidate for office in the next election for a detailed plan on how he or she intends to save our retirement system. No plan, no vote. For those that are currently in an elected, executive or legislative position, don’t re-elect any who have not done something to alleviate this situation.
