Jeffrey B. Tirao was released from custody after he posted a bail on February 26.
Tirao’s status conference is set for March 20.Tirao was charged with one count of aggravated assault for assaulting a Nepalese man with a machete on February 22.A police affidavit submitted in court stated that the victim who was working at the A & A gas station was on the phone when Tirao attacked him in the neck.The victim turned and saw Tirao was armed with a machete.Tirao tried to hit again the victim in the head but the victim managed to grab his wrist.Tirao dropped the machete and ran away.The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
