THE vote on Wednesday morning was 16 in favor and 1 abstention (Rep. Celina Babauta). “Excused” from the session were Reps. JP Sablan, Ralph Yumul and Sheila Babauta. The Senate version of House Bill 22-95 would fund and distribute bonuses for CNMI government retirees without taking money from the Marianas Visitors Authority. The bill now goes to the governor.
