
(Office of the Governor) — There will be a 15-day extension of the public comment period for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands Joint Military Training-Revised Draft Environmental Impact Statement or CJMT-EIS.
The public comment period, originally announced in the Federal Register on June 6, 2025, has been extended to Sept. 4, 2025. This extension provides additional time for the public to review and submit comments on the Revised Draft EIS and its potential effects, including those considered under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
The Revised Draft EIS is available for review online at www.cnmijointmilitarytrainingeis.com and at the following public libraries:
