REPRESENTATIVE Roy Ada claimed the April Ace of the Month title of the Amigos Golf Club with a net score of 138 on Sunday at the Kingfisher Golf Links.
Ada shot a gross of 85 during the qualifier round. With a handicap of 15, his net score was 70.
Then in the ace round, he slightly improved his swing with a gross score of 83. Thanks to his 15 handicap, his net score was 68 and his total net was 138 which gave him the April Ace of the Month title.
Just one stroke away was Nick Reyes. In the qualifier, he excelled with a gross score of 78 which was shaved by his 13 handicap to a net score of 65. But he failed to maintain the steady swing in the ace round and ended up with a gross of 87. His 13 handicap gave him a net score of 74, a total net of 139 and overall second place.
In the optional play, the closest to the pin winners were Nick Reyes for hole #6; Frank Ermitanio, hole #8; and Jay Muna, holes #12 and #15. Each won $150.
