Islanders juice out Mariano’s Boyz, 105-67

The Islanders maintained their dominance of the island-borne game by pounding new comers, Mariano’s Boyz, 105-67 in four sets juice, for their fifth win.

They remain undefeated for the last two and a half months taking home $250 for their team net playing skills.

Rocball games organizer James W. Feger said that with this standing, the Islanders have become the masters of Saipan’s own sport. To find more contenders, he said the team may have to cross train for the players of the other team net sport that like to use volleyballs.

But, players of the other team net sport that use volleyballs have switch their emphasis to the beach and might have lost their competitive edge for hard surface and hard scoring competition.

The Rocball Gorilla games, Feger said is offering a 250 dollar bounty on the Islanders to any team net player that can defeat the best of Saipan’s Rocball players at their own game, whether on the beach or on hard court.

If more than one team takes the challenge, the teams involved will have to play each other to determine which team will win the right to challenge the Islanders: There is no interest fee to register, but courage is required to play.
