Letter to the Editor: Revoke pay raise!

Removing the acting AG’s name as defendant from a minor case does not entitle an attorney to a pay raise at a time when the government is in a financial crisis.

Governor, did you forget that their are hundreds of police officers and other government employees who were never given a pay raise or merit increase well over two decades?

Lest we forget Mr. Braddock Huesman is already being compensated for his job.

Two years of employment cannot match those that have been employed 10, 15 and 20 years without any salary increase.

We believe that this pay hike certification has to pass through our legislative branch, but you are already informing the Senate president and the speaker of the House that your BONUS is a done deal and should be accepted.

Essential public services have been hampered and morale is low due to the removal of the employees’ overtime, hazardous and night differential pay.

This pay raise should be revoked immediately!

Otherwise. ensure that everyone in the government gets their share of pay raises across the board for it seems that you as governor will continue to insult and disrespect the people of the commonwealth with your dictatorial overspending and reprogramming of revenues to appease your self-interest agendas.
