The outer islands of Yap will be serviced by the Yap state vessel, MV Hapilmohol.
Rice is the only food staple that will be delivered on these disaster relief runs.
This rice was purchased with funds decreed during the emergency and obligated for rice only.
Since the emergency declaration was not extended by the Federated States of Micronesia Congress, the plan, as it was set in Dec. 2008, will proceed and this will be the second and last delivery of food relief to the affected outer islands.
