Governor pleads not guilty

Governor Ralph DLG Torres, represented by attorneys Victorino Torres, Viola Alepuyo and Anthony Aguon, appeared before Judge Pro Tempore Alberto E. Tolentino in Superior Court Monday morning and pled not guilty to the charges of misconduct in public office, theft, and contempt filed by the CNMI Office of the Attorney General. The arraignment was also witnessed by dozens of the governor’s friends, family members and other supporters. More details to follow.
