According to the report released by Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Lei Ogumoro, the man wore a cloth to conceal the bottom portion of his face when he entered Smile Poker at around 5:18 a.m. on April 3.
Ogumoro said preliminary investigation showed that the man instructed the establishment’s security guard to go to the counter with his hands placed on the counter.
The suspect then demanded money from the cashier, who handed over an undetermined amount of money.
Ogumoro said the robber was armed with a blunt object and was described as wearing a long-sleeve shirt, long pants and a baseball cap.
She said the case is under further investigation.
Ogumoro said DPS is once again requesting the members of the community to call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 234-7272 if they have information regarding this crime
All calls are kept anonymous and no caller ID is used. A reward of up to $1,000 will be given for any information that leads to an arrest.
