The Bureau of Public Safety is reminding the establishments to strictly enforce the law or they will be cited with violations.
Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that if a minor will be found in the premises of any bar establishments, the minor and the bar will be cited for violations.“We ask them to assist us and make sure that their customers are of legal age,”Aguon said.Aguon added that police will be strictly monitoring the establishments for compliance.He said police will also conduct a sobriety checkpoint later on this month in observance of the Alcohol Awareness Month to deter any drunk drivers.They will also be monitoring retail stores to ensure that no alcohol will be sold to minors.
