Letter to the Editor: Open letter to the BOE chairwoman

I thought that education is a priority when he was running for governor.

I guess that after winning the seat it’s “I Don’t Care Anymore Until The Next Election.”

I strongly suggest that the governor should really sit down and analyze the plan that he is proposing regarding the funding that PSS will be receiving.

I applaud you Mrs. Blanco for standing for our education. It always starts with education and then followed by personnel. There will be no personnel if there is no education.

Let us really think hard for our children’s future not only now.

We all understand that we are in bad economic times but we need to think that our education is priority.

To Governor Fitial — please; you have to really think that education is a priority now, not personnel. We know that you are trying to find funding to pay for personnel but try and look elsewhere and do not use the money that PSS will be receiving for our education. I hope that you will find other ways to pay for it.

I strongly urge you to find other ways for funding and not commit the funding for our children’s education. Protect our future generation by not using funds provided for them. Thank you.
