He said the public hearing will start at 9 a.m. in the Senate chamber.
“The members of the Senate are also concerned about the public’s input. I am informing the public that we will have the opportunity to convene as a committee of the whole so that we can receive public comments regarding his [Inos] appointment,” he said.
Gov. Benigno R. Fitial nominated Inos, his running mate in his re-election bid, to succeed Villagomez who resigned over the weekend.
“Since he’s running with Eloy Inos, it makes sense that the governor would choose Eloy. It wasn’t a surprise and we need to respect the governor’s choice,” Reyes said.
