The program dubbed as 3 R’s Heroes was sponsored by the Solid Waste Management of the Koror State Government.
PHS senior students hosted the event on Saturday and prepared games and several activities for the participants.Freshmen and sophomore students from Emmaus participated in the Question and Answer, collection of trash underwater and volleyball games.The students received prizes after each game.The objective of the activity is to ensure a sustainable quality environment in Palau.The 3 R Heroes aim to promote proper disposal, use and management of waste.It was raining badly at that time but the activity turned out positively and the students were still able to collect numerous amounts of trash.
