Fitial of Marianas Elite will be vying for his second mixed martial arts victory in the Art of War China 12 “Invincible Fight” that will be attended by MMA world stars, Rickson Gracie, Royce Gracie, Renzo Gracie and Royler Gracie.
The Marianas pride will be accompanied by Trench Tech Jiu-Jitsu instructor and CNMI men’s national team player, Jeff Cloud.
The fight in China will also be attended by special guests that include The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
The other MMA sensations who will witness the fight are Demian Maia, Fabricio Werdum, Thales Leites, Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro, Ricardo Liborio, Joachim Hansen, Bas Rutten, Josh Barnett, Renato “Babalu” Sobral, Tim Sylvia, Jeremy Horn, Yuji Shimada, Big John McCarthy, Stephen Quadros, and Michael Buffer.
Two weeks ago, Fitial KO’d Chinese judo black belt, Li Phi Sheng via referee stoppage in the first minute and 36th second of the first round.
“It was a great honor that I had the opportunity to fight in China,” Fitial said, adding that he was in the Philippines when Trench Tech relayed to him the email of Jefferson Yin of MMA China inviting him to sports event.
Fitial said he is now training hard for the second fight which he said must be a good one. He said is he confident about the coming fight.
