Patriots win Junior Little League finals

Starter Bryan Camacho struck out four halfway to the final inning to help the Patriots prevent Ol Aces recover from four-run deficit and won the championship game, 8-4.

Reliever Jared Sablan helped out with two strike outs.

The former Little Leaguer Majors who won three pennants and championships, it was the first time for the Patriots to join in the Junior League.

Playing in support of “our heroes for freedom” the Patriots do not have no teams majors, seniors and big league this year.

Meanwhile, Ol’ Aces’ Lamarc Iguel topped the final batting leaders’ stats hitting 30 of 49 at-bats to get an average of .612.

Jeremy Rabauliman placed second with 27 hits in 54 at-bats averaging .500.

Former Majors Little League batting champ, Frankie Camacho also of Ol’ Aces topped this year’s ERA leaders with 1.03 ERA.

The Patriots’ Jared Sablan placed second with 1.78 ERA.

Christian Mizer hit a two-run single in the fourth inning and Carlos Rabauliman finished the Ol’ Aces off by driving Henry Rabauliman home with a single in the sixth inning.

Jacob Flores hit a two-run single for Ol’ Aces in a losing attempt in the seventh inning, and drove-in a run with a base on ball in the fourth.

Lion Heart 5, Red Sox 4

In the consolation game, Dante Matagolai drove-in the winning run for Lion Heart to win the third place against the Red Sox, 5-4.

Red Sox were leading in the first inning with Clayton Aguon and Steven Cabrera both driving in a run with their single.

Lion Heart’s Steven Aguon tied in the third inning and Vince Torres scored a run in the fourth to take the lead.
