The suspect was identified as Sean Kyota.
Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that on May 10 at 9:15 am a police officer called and reported that while he was on patrol in Meyuns, he spotted a male individual drinking in a public place.The officer approached the person who was later identified as Kyota.The officer while questioning Kyota found a marijuana in his possession.A man was also assaulted with a rock on May 10.A man called police and reported a fight at the Peleliu club in Madelaii at 2:50 am on Sunday.The report indicated that an unknown suspect threw a rock that hit the victim’s face.The victim sustained laceration in the eyebrow and was treated at the hospital for his injuries.Several theft incidents and burglaries were also reported to the police over the weekend.A woman called and reported that someone broke into her residence in Ngesekes and stole several items such as laptap, jewelry and assorted CDs.A man also reported that his vehicle was stolen from his residence in Ikelau.The victim reported that he parked his vehicle in front of his apartment and discovered it gone the next day.
