The Hustlers rampaged in the first inning lambasting the Aztecs with five base hits.
Ton Rogolifoi hit a two-run double and Giovanni Ayuyu followed it up with a run-scoring double for a five-run first inning.
Pangelinan stole his way to scoring position and all the way to the home base in the fifth inning.
The Aztecs however, rallied for a three-run sixth inning and came from behind, 7-6. They did not score in the top of the seventh inning and needed one run two win the game after the Hustlers pushed the game into eighth inning.
Hustlers’ reliever, Ayuyu foiled Tharton Masayos and John Wilson’s attempt.
In the ninth inning, Wally Emul’s run in the top of the eighth paced the Aztecs in a single-run advantage.
Pangelinan rocketed a single again allowing Ton Aldan to tie the ball game.
Vince Cepeda who hit a single and stole his way to scoring position scored the winning run from a passed ball committed on Ben L. Guerrero.
Ayuyu had seven strike outs and gave up three hits, while starter, Ton Aldan struck out one and gave up nine hits.
Ol’ Aces 17, D9ers 7
In last Tuesday’s game, Ol’ Aces rallied in the fifth inning scoring runs to rout D9ers, 17-7.
Juan Iguel fired a run-scoring single and Dennis Cruz drove-in one with base-on-ball.
Ryan Lisua struck out eight. He also scored four runs, two of which via base and ball.
Mario Salas hit a run-scoring single in the third inning and Ken Villagomez drove-in a run with a double.
