Another ground hit by team mate, Ben Cabrera pushed Camacho to score the winning run giving the Falcons its Saipan Little League Big Division championship title, 6-5 at the Francisco Palacios Baseball Field yesterday.
The Falcons needed to survive when Jerro Iowe swung for a single in the bottom of the sixth. Navan Falig bunted but did not make it as planned.
Iowe stole second and Keoni Pula’s single drove him in to tie the ball game.
Fielders’ Denry Fiden and Zack Tudela were thrown out at the first base and Ike Aldan who lasted seven innings for Falcons walked two allowing the Fielders to load the bases.
Lawrence Sablan’s fly to the right field sent him out ending the scoreless inning for the Fielders.
Aldan and the Falcons’ in-fields held the Fielders scoreless in three straight innings.
Iowe and Drew Mangofna singled Ben Cabrera and Ryan Ada respectively in the bottom of the second inning.
Juan Tenorio’s solo home run over centerfielder tied the ball game, 3-3 in the third inning.
Fielders’ Fiden drove-in two with a sacrifice bat.
