(CNMI HSEM) — The CNMI Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management will be troubleshooting and testing the all-hazard mobile siren on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025.
The testing will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. During this time, the mobile siren will be activated multiple times, with each activation lasting approximately two minutes. The testing will occur in a route that includes the Marpi Landfill area, goes through the San Juan area, and ends at Route 36.
This test is a critical part of the HSEM’s preparedness and response strategy. The all-hazard mobile siren is designed to alert residents to potential threats, including tsunami warnings, severe weather warnings, wildfire warnings, and air raid warnings.
This is only a test. Residents do not need to take action during the all-hazard mobile siren activation. HSEM is committed to ensuring the safety and preparedness of the CNMI community.
