The theme of this year’s conference was the Guam military buildup.
Chieng said during the meeting “extensive discussion were made on some of the rippling effects” the buildup on Guam might have on its neighbors.
“It is also through these discussion and presentation that we learned that Guam Community College is offering training and certificate in the areas of engineering and mechanics for free, according to Ms. May A.Y. Odada, president of GCC,” the speaker said.
He advised Sigrah to have any interested Yapese residing on Guam to contact the college registrar for details regarding this opportunity.
