National players Shirley Koshiba, Jesslyn De Leon, and Lily Oilouch joined hands together as they connected time and time again on both ends of the court to defeat the feisty players of team Bring It On. The three contributed with a combine score of 42 points while the rest of the score was distributed among the remaining players of Spartans. On a losing cause, another stellar player of the national women’s squad, Jamie Ngirausui, topscored for her team, Bring It On with 23, while team mate Yoko chipped in with 10 points. As a result, team Spartans dominated to get them 3rd place trophy while their competitor team Bring It On settled for fourth spot.
As for the WNBL best of three championship match between Sam’s Kryptonite and Team Money, the first game is being played as of press time while the rest of the matches will be scheduled for Wednesday and Friday of this week.
