Kagman High School principal Alfred Ada said they also recognized students who have shown great athleticism and spirit in sports.
He told awardees to use their achievements as a gauge to plan for their future.
“If you are awarded the Science Award, take the time to explore the careers that relate to science,” he said.

• Outstanding Female Graduate Award — Yvonne Marie DLG. Bennett.
Laurence Sablan received the Vocational Award, Juan Taisakan Iguel, the PTSA Award while Yvonne Marie Bennett and Jesus Taisakan Iguel were named athletes of the year.
Teacher Rosalyn Ajoste said six of the eight local students who received the Robert C. Byrd Scholarships were from Kagman High School.
They were also recognized yesterday: Terrence Babauta Duenas, Kenlyn Palmes Butters, Bonny Lynn A Cruz, Naomi DLG. Benjamin, Loremel Aguelo Hocog, and Yvonne DLG. Bennett.
Ada told students who didn’t get awards that “it’s never too late to change and make good of yourself.”
