Police officers commended for prompt actions

Serelina Ridep commended Sergeant Bradley Rimirch and police officers Lemanski Blau, Rickley Antonio, Silvano Teliu and Ellington Tengoll for doing a good job when a juvenile was arrested in connection with the burglary and grand larceny incident that took place between May through June 4 at her residence at Semiich in Ngerchemai. Ridep wrote a letter to Bureau of Public Safety Director Norvert Yano commending the officers for their prompt action that resulted to the arrest of the suspect and to the recovery of her jewelry. Ridep stated in her letter that on June 6 she reported to Sgt. Rimirch that her jewelry was stolen. She said as soon as she made her report, the police officers immediately responded and conducted investigation to track down the suspect. Ridep said through the officers dedication and hard work, they were able to crack a week old robbery and arrest the suspect in three hours. The officers recovered most of the victim’s jewelry.

“I commended all of these officers for their hard work, prompt services and their dedication in protecting the citizens of our country and their properties. Without their prompt effort and hard work, my jewelry was lost forever,” Ridep stated in her letter to Director Yano.The juvenile was arrested for burglary and grand larceny.
