San Antonio’s top student: Indalecio

“To my fellow graduates let us keep trying and take on the challenges ahead of us. We should always try our very best in all undertakings,” said Indalecio, her school’s top sixth grader.

The second highest honor, the Principal’s Award, went to  Espralyne Dirraiked Ngirutoi.

“Always try your best and don’t give up,” Ngirutoi said in her brief message to her fellow students.

Indalecio and Ngirutoi told Variety they will pursue their education at Hopwood Jr. High School.

Student Council president Sina Ha’ani Ulloa Palacios thanked the teachers and the parents for their support.

Palacios said she is satisfied with how the government is providing assistance to the school.

“Let us move forward as we have a lot of challenges in our life,” she said in her message to the graduates.

School principal Katrina Lizama told Variety she was very impressed with the students.

“I hope they will continue to be productive students in high school.”

She also thanked the parents for their untiring support and for working together with the teachers and school administrators.

Board of Education member Galvin Deleon Guerrero was the special guest.

The Presidential Gold Award was given to Alex Bradly Menor, Edilberto T. Javier, Espralyne D. Ngirutoi, Keryn Lizama, Pauline Nimer, Shanthia Espinosa, Sina U. Palacios and Yvonne Indalecio.

The Silver Award went to Ana Magofna, April P. Brana, Chiko C. Bondoc, Condrad Calub, Diana Joy S. Aquino, Dinah Babauta, Donovan L. Iba, Edward W. Richards, Ernesto Medina Fampieca Cabrera, Franklin P. Indalecio, Jahnelle Francisco, Jason Rey Corilla, Jerwin Raquepo, Jessie Taitano, Jester Asuncion, Jo Ray Miranda, Jonie B. Castro, Kristina V. Nugam, Lea S. Legacion, Lorenzo A. Sanchez, Oliver P. Lumbad, Peter John Reyes, Vanisha D. Pangelinan, Vicente Aldan, Edelshia Sablan, Shivon Marie Sablan, Truman C. Shiro, Yvanna C. Indaledio, and Lorenzo DLG. Sablan.

The other newly promoted students were Beckly C. Aguon, Jose Ngeskebei, Galvin H. Williams, Jackylyn Asuncion, John Babauta, Angelito Gutirrez, Juljean Ngeskebei, Yoichi Arurang, Leezel M. Iglecias, David S. Indalecio, Soo Min Jung, Fermin E. Renguul and Vincent Paul Santos.
