Steven Skilang was summoned to appear at 1:30 p.m. on June 16 to face his charges.
He was charged on May 19 for entering the PPR and stole a customer’s money.The incident was reported to the police on January 24 at 7:53 pm by PPR’s Security Administrator.The affidavit of probable cause submitted in court stated that Skilang was working at the PPR at that time.The court document stated that Skilang was working at the graveyard shift at the front desk of the hotel when he saw the victims, a Japanese couple, who were a guest at the hotel leave their room to go diving.Skilang took the keys and entered the victims’ room and opened the safe and took the victims 10,000 yen and $750.The court document stated that Skilang admitted to a security officer that he took the money and paid back the victims.
