Yap grants leave for employees affected by power outage

The Yap State Public Service Corp. advised its customers of its plan to temporarily interrupt power service so the crew from the power generation division could put back on line one of the Units that had recently been overhauled.

The plan was to eventually restore power back later in the day by sections or areas.

Tareg requested the government to grant annual leave to the employees because there was no schedule or set time as to when the power would be restored.

The only government agency that remained undisrupted was the Department of Health Services.
