The event was attended by the students’ families, relatives, friends, and guests and was broadcast live by Yap’s radio station,V6AI KUTE FM 88.1.
The morning was hot and stifling while the crowd filled up the community center.
At 10 a.m., the graduating song was played and the graduating class walked up toward the stage and took their seat.
Ross Perkins was the master of ceremonies, which included an invocation, the salutatorian address by Marcella G. Baroy and speeches by some of the guests — Yap Gov. Sebastian Anefal, Speaker Charles Chieng, and Education Director Sr. Margaret Margou.
The valedictory address was delivered by Zachary Y. F. Tman, and this was followed by the presentation of special awards by Domingo Techur, Teresa Filepin, and Sebastian Tamagken.
Closing benediction was given by Charles Falaninug.
