Although we do not agree with the administration’s stand in suing the federal government and waiting for federal stimulus funds to come, the time to act is now.
We are sure that every government employee would agree on “AUSTERITY” over furloughs. If the executive branch forecasts such an unwelcoming threat to the government employees’ general well-being, we suggest that they immediately establish communication with the chairman of Ways and Means, Rep. Ray Yumul, and iron out this upcoming chaos.
As our elected leaders it is important to seriously understand that our people have all suffered enough and with the uncertainties of the impending federalization and the governor’s lawsuit, our commonwealth and the general public are being held hostage and strangled by such ignorance and self-interest on both parties regarding the suffering of so many in our homeland.
