Gary P. Camacho, CUC power division manager and public information officer, said the power outage will allow their power distribution line crews to clear the vegetation near the primary lines in Sadog Tase.
“This is our effort to increase power reliability and safety to our customers,” Camacho told Variety.
On June 6, CUC implemented a four-hour power outage in the Oleai area.
Camacho said it is necessary to provide a safe working area for their crews and this is why CUC will temporarily switch off the power supply in Sadog Tase during the line clearing operation on Saturday.
The outage will start at 8:30 a.m. and power will be restored by 12:30 noon.
Customers in Pila Dr., Rasaki Way and Sadog Tase Dr. are advised to prepare for the power interruption.
Camacho said CUC is always requesting the cooperation and patience of the people driving and residing in the affected areas while work is being performed.
“CUC personnel will work diligently to minimize any inconvenience to the consumers,” he said.
