SAIPAN Humane Society would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the local businesses and donors who made our July veterinary clinic a success.
We are deeply thankful for the generosity of our community partners, including Loco & Taco, Paradise Dental, Great Harvest, Spicy Thai, The Original Lucky Bills, J’s Restaurant, Atkins Kroll Saipan, and Saipan Vegas. Their contributions, whether through donations, services, or providing meals and essentials for our visiting veterinarians, enabled us to continue our mission of improving animal welfare and healthcare on Saipan.
Looking ahead, SHS is excited to announce the next visiting veterinary team in partnership with the MARS Ambassador Program. Dr. Lisa Powell and Certified Veterinary Technician Elizabeth Knoll will focus primarily on non-surgical cases. This clinic provides a unique opportunity for our community to benefit from their expertise.
Dr. Powell is a renowned expert in veterinary emergency and critical care, with over 30 published journal articles and a distinguished career in clinical practice and education. She currently serves as the Manager of Telehealth and ER Development and as an Associate Critical Care Veterinarian at BluePearl Veterinary Partners.
Elizabeth Knoll brings over 20 years of experience as a Certified Veterinary Technician. In her current role as a Patient Care Training Coordinator at Mars Petcare, Elizabeth is passionate about mentoring and developing veterinary staff to enhance their clinical skills.
