Ray Camacho, TOC committee member said that this year’s event will again, be a 36-hole open tournament and will continue to have the super seniors flight.
Last year, close to 200 golfers participated and they are optimistic they reach the target of 200 this time.
The Championship Flight, Men’s A to C as well as the Seniors and Super Seniors flights individual performance will be calculated by lowest handicaps.
The Ladies Flight will be on Peoria format. The first three female golfers who will have the lowest total gross for the first and second day will be picked for top awards.
From among the rest in the Ladies Flight, another three lowest grosser will be awarded.
Last year’s Championship Flight lowest grosser was Louie J. Sunga who shot 147; Flight A, An Jihn (154); Flight B, Luis Byun (158); Flight C, Melvin Gray (178.1); Seniors Flight, Edward Manibusan, (154); Super Seniors Flight, Pablo Mendoza, (161); Ladies Flight (low gross), Noriko Togawa (161); Ladies Flight (low net) Shirlyn Jones (149.8); Men’s Double Peoria, Alfredo Asuncion (141.4).
