Remengesau was represented by attorney Oldias Ngiraikelau when he appeared before Associate Justice Kathleen Salii.
The next hearing is set for Aug. 17 at 9 a.m. here in Koror.Special Prosecutor Michael Copeland said Remengesau had undisclosed assets during his term as president of Palau.Remengesau was required to submit a yearly ethics financial disclosure statement to disclose his assets as a public official, but failed to disclose several properties in 2000-2003.These properties were located in Ngaremlengui, Ngarchelong and Melekeok.Remengesau, in an earlier interview, accused the Office of Special Prosecutor of selective prosecution.
