The Department of Finance-Division of Customs and Quarantine, in partnership with Northern Marianas College, will launch a Customs and Biosecurity Academy with 20 cadets this month. As part of their training, the cadets will earn 40 college credits from NMC and will have the opportunity to earn additional credits so they can obtain their college degrees. The college has similar partnership agreements with the Department of Public Safety, the Department of Corrections, and the Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services.
