THE 8th Annual CNMI Women’s Summit will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pacific Islands Club.
The summit, sponsored yearly by the CNMI Women’s Association, is co-sponsored by the Women’s Affairs Office under the Office of the Governor, and in collaboration with key community and network partners.
This year’s theme “Gender Equality: Key to Sustainable Development” also highlights this year’s national theme “Break the Bias” and was proclaimed on March 1, 2022 at the Proclamation Signing, held at the governor’s office.
This year’s line-up of panelists and programs at the summit include discussions and presentations on topics that include the Summary of SDG# 5, on Women & Culture, Women & Health, and Women & Peace: Leading the Conversation on Militarization in the CNMI, Break Out Sessions to Work on Targets & Objective, Report on Targets and Objectives and Implementation of Targets & Objective Identified.
